Durkan are very pleased to share details of our newest development, nestled at the foothills of the breathtaking Dublin Mountains. As a family firm local to the area, this is a project that is close to our hearts, and we have spent much time and energy in considering a design and layout that will enhance our beautiful surroundings, adding another layer to the neighbourhood.

Getting There by Car
On the Road to
Improved Access
DLRCC with BAM are currently constructing the soon to be opened Glenamuck District Distributor Road (GDDR), which will greatly enhance access and traffic flow in the area. Phase 1 of the new road network opened in June 2025, with the Glenamuck Local Distributor Road (GLDR) due for completion in March 2026.
Kilternan Village will have direct vehicular access onto the New Distributor Road, whilst benefiting from the traffic-calming impact on the Enniskerry Road/Village.
These road improvements mean that the surrounding attractions are even easier to access. Residents can enjoy a short and convenient drive to major retail outlets at Dundrum Town Centre and Carrickmines Park. Plus, with direct access to the main N11/M50, motorists have fast and direct access to both the City Centre and Dublin International Airport.
